Shannon Beador has been officially charged with DUI and hit-and-run following her arrest in September.

It is alleged that Beador's blood alcohol content (BAC) was three times the legal limit, which was recorded at 0.24 percent after the crash.

The Orange County District Attorney's Office made the decision a little more than a month after Beador's arrest for a hit-and-run incident while driving under the influence of alcohol.

Beador crashed his car into a house in Newport Beach, California, causing property damage including scattered pieces of concrete and debris.

Video footage of the incident shows Beador driving at a high speed, turning sharply into the building, backing out, and then fleeing the scene.

When police arrived, Beador parked his vehicle in the middle of the road and pretended to walk his dog Archie.

A witness called 911, after which police arrested Beador.

Who took him into custody and accused him of two rapes. He was released the next morning after posting $2,500 bail.

Two days after the incident, her friend Jeff Lewis revealed on his radio show that Beador felt "ashamed" about what had transpired.
