Netflix Avatar: Last Airbender Live-Action series Drops First Trailer

The highly-anticipated Netflix adaptation of "Avatar: The Last Airbender" has unveiled its first official trailer following earlier announcements and teasers.

The trailer provides a brief yet exciting glimpse into the world of the series offering a closer look at the main characters as well as beloved side characters.

Notably, Kyoshi Warrior Suki and the Earth Kingdom city of Ba Sing Se are featured in the trailer impressing fans of the original series.

Netflix had previously released images of the principal characters such as Sokka, Katara, Aang and Zuko along with Fire Lord Ozai, Uncle Iroh, Azula and General Zhao.

Netflix has been actively working on live-action adaptations with successes like "One Piece" and some mixed reactions to "Cowboy Bebop."

The hope is that this adaptation will be well-received by fans of the original animated series.

Additionally fans of the original series have more to look forward to as the show's creators, Bryan Konietzko and Michael DiMartino are working on a series of animated movies set in the Avatar universe including one that focuses on the Gaang as adults.

"Avatar: The Last Airbender" is set to premiere on Netflix on February 22nd 2024.
