Diana Taurasi becomes 1st WNBA scorer with 10K points

The perennial All-Star, known as the "White Mamba," added another milestone to her illustrious WNBA career on Thursday night.

The 41-year-old hit the milestone with a long 3-pointer during the third quarter of the game against the Atlanta Dream.

He had a season-high 42 points in a 91–71 win over Phoenix, bringing his total to 10,024.

The 41-year-old became the first player in WNBA history to score 10,000 points.

Taurasi has said that he has always cared more about victories than milestones and records.

He added “I don't really think about numbers, I've always said I just played basketball because I love to play.

The only reason I go to the gym at this point is because I still love playing and, you know, this group still comes every day.
