Damian Lillard reportedly traded to Milwaukee Bucks – as it happened

In a significant NBA trade development, Damian Lillard is set to join the Milwaukee Bucks along with Giannis Antetokounmpo.

That would effectively end his 11-year tenure with the Portland Trail Blazers.

The move comes after three months of speculation and trade requests driven by Lillard's desire to achieve an NBA championship.

The trade involved three teams, including the Phoenix Suns, and included several notable players:

Damian Lillard, seven-time NBA All-Star and member of the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team, is moving from the Trail Blazers to the Milwaukee Bucks.

Jrue Holiday will leave the Bucks to join the Portland Trail Blazers.

Deandre Ayton is being traded from the Phoenix Suns to the Portland Trail Blazers.

Jusuf Nurkic is making his way from the Blazers to the Suns.

Portland will receive an unprotected first-round draft pick in 2029from one of the teams involved.

Two unprotected first-round pick swaps scheduled for 2028 and 2030 are part of the deal.
