Captain America Reviews: Marvel delays release of several movies

Marvel Studios' upcoming film "Captain America: Brave New World" starring Anthony Mackie and Harrison Ford will undergo extensive reshoots before its theatrical release.

According to Jeff Snyder of The Hot Mic the negative test scores have prompted the need for massive reshoots for the fourth installment of the captain America series.

These reshoots are reportedly scheduled for January to May 2024.

It is said that three "key" scenes from the initial filming were cut during the re-shooting process.

The film, originally scheduled for release on July 26, 2024, has been changed due to the conclusion of the SAG-AFTRA strike.

"Captain America: Brave New World" is now expected to be released in theaters on February 14, 2025.

Sam Wilson, played by Anthony Mackie, first appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Falcon in 2014's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier."

He later took over the mantle of Captain America from Chris Evans' Steve Rogers.

Mackie reprized his role as Sam in the 2021 Disney+ series "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier", where he officially becomes the new Captain America.
