'Bachelor in Paradise' Stars Brandon and Serene Call Off Engagement

Bachelor Nation stars Brandon Jones and Serene Russell got engaged on the season eight finale of Bachelor in Paradise.

Brandon Jones and Serene Russell have broken up after five months of being engaged.

Bachelor Nation star Brandon Jones shared that he broke off his engagement on May 8.

On Instagram, the pair released a joint statement in which they tried to work on their relationship in private.

This has been difficult and painful to accept as there is a lot of love between the two. There is no hatred between us.

He further said that “the best course of action for us at this time is to try and move forward to overcome this burden”.

The news of Brandon and Serene's split comes five months later.
