Ana de Armas responds to Wonder Woman casting rumours

Ana de Armas is playing the role of Wonder Woman Casting.

On Friday, Ana de Armas was asked if she would take over the role of Wonder Woman from Gal Gadot in Peter Safran and James Gunn's DC Universe.

De Armas told the outlet that "Gal Gadot is doing a great job and I think she should keep doing it".

Gal Gadot made her film debut in the role in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice 2017's Wonder Woman 2020's Wonder Woman 1984.

She is expected to return for the third Wonder Woman film, which will be directed by Patty Jenking.

Filming was scrapped in December after Safran and Gunn became heads at DC Studios.

After it was announced that the film was shelved, Jenkins released a statement saying that she would not be withdrawing from the project.
