Continuation as Anthology: Showrunner Noah Hawley’s latest installment starting on Nov. 21, presents a standalone story that maintains connections with previous seasons and the original movie.
Starring Cast: Season 5 features Jon Hamm, Juno Temple and Jennifer Jason Leigh among the A-list actors joining the series. Previous seasons have had renowned actors such as Billy Bob Thornton, Martin Freeman, Kirsten Dunst, Ewan McGregor, Chris Rock and more.
Critical Reception: While the first three seasons were well-received by critics and audiences the fourth season received mixed reviews. It was Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with an 84% critic score but had a weaker 54% audience rating.
Season 5 Review: Without giving away spoilers, co-host Bruce Miller watched half of the episodes and believes that it’s not only the best show for the remainder of 2023 but also ranks as at least the second best “Fargo” season to date.
