Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo, who found love and got engaged during her tenure as the lead on “The Bachelorette” are separating after four years of marriage.
Abasolo officially filed for divorce in Los Angeles, citing irreconcilable differences as reported by CNN and various media outlets. The couple, whose relationship blossomed during the filming of Season 13 of the ABC dating series in 2017, do not have any children.

Rachel Lindsay known for her appearance as the first Black lead on “The Bachelorette” in 2017, is set to return to the status of a bachelorette following the news of her impending divorce from her husband of four years Bryan Abasolo. The couple initially found love on the reality dating show.
Abasolo initiated the divorce proceedings by filing in Los Angeles County court citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split. Notably, the couple did not have any children during their marriage.
Taking to social media Abasolo shared the news of their separation, stating, “After more than 4 years of marriage Rachel and I have made the difficult decision to part ways and start anew. My parents are forever separated and I’m a family man, but sometimes loving yourself and your friend means you have to let it go.
Rachel Lindsay gained recognition for her appearance on Season 21 of “The Bachelor” before becoming the focal point of “The Bachelorette.” She famously chose Abasolo as the recipient of her final rose leading to their marriage in August 2019. Recently, Lindsay departed from her correspondent role at the entertainment news show “Extra.”
On the other hand, Abasolo, known as “Dr. Abs” is a chiropractor by profession.
As of now, Rachel Lindsay has not made any public comments regarding the divorce.
