Taylor Swift will unveil four unreleased songs ahead of Eras Tour Debut

The Swift singer shared on her Instagram on Thursday that “in celebration of the Eras Tour,” she will be releasing four previously unreleased songs soon. Swift is set to debut at midnight. Swift always drops her new songs in the middle of the night and all her fans are taken aback by Swift.

Swift’s upcoming songs are: “Eyes Open (Taylor’s Version),” “Safe and Sound (Taylor’s Version)” featuring Joey Williams and John Boy Music, “If This Was a Movie (Taylor’s Version)” and “All of the Girls You Loved” before.”

Of the four songs being released by the 38-year-old Swift, three appear to be rerecordings, as the tag “(Taylor’s version)” is included in the title.

In 2019, Swift’s former label, Big Machine, sold master recordings of its music catalogue, prompting Swift to record new versions of her previous albums. Swift released “Fearless (Taylor’s Version)” and “Red (Taylor’s Version)” in 2021.

The track “If This Was a Movie” was originally included on the deluxe edition of singer Swift’s 2010 album “Speak Now”. Swift has been known to include copious Easter eggs in her songs, videos and on her social media. Swifties have used their intuition to speculate that “Speak Now” is the next rerecorded album she plans to release.

Swift has confirmed which re-recorded album she plans to release next.

“Eyes Open” is a track off the “The Hunger Games: Songs from District 12 and Beyond” soundtrack, a companion album to the 2012 film “The Hunger Games”. The song was not originally included in the film, but is featured on the soundtrack along with “Safe and Sound”.

“All the Girls You’ve Loved Before” is an unreleased track that Swift recorded during her “Lover” era in 2019, according to Variety.

Swift’s long-awaited Eras Tour is set to begin on March 18 in Glendale, Arizona, marking Swift’s first tour in five years.
