This upcoming anime, based on Oda’s manga is set to be animated by Wit Studio known for its work on “Spy x Family” and the initial three seasons of “Attack on Titan.”

This upcoming series, separate from the long-running “One Piece” anime by Toei Animation since 1999, will reimagine the beloved East Blue saga from Oda’s original manga. Set to begin where both the existing anime and Netflix’s live-action adaptation start it follows the journey of aspiring pirate king Monkey D. Luffy and his crew.

What sets “The One Piece” apart is its fresh take on the familiar storyline utilizing cutting-edge visual technology. Produced by WIT Studio, known for works like “Spy x Family” and the initial seasons of “Attack on Titan” this adaptation aims to provide viewers with a new yet nostalgic experience.

Meanwhile, Oda is gearing up for another exciting project in January 2024: the premiere of “Monsters 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation” a new anime series on Netflix. This series will follow Ryuma a samurai navigating a world disrupted by a menacing force—a dragon capable of catastrophic destruction.
