Rapper Jeezy filed for divorce from TV host Jeannie Mai Jenkins on September 14 after two years of marriage.
The couple have a prenuptial agreement and have already separated, according to documents filed in Fulton County Superior Court.
The documents also note that Jeezy is seeking joint legal custody of their daughter, Monaco.
Rapper Jeezy and Mai Jenkins welcomed a daughter early last year.
TV host Jeannie Mai and Jeezy first met when the rapper appeared on The Real.
“Falling in love with Jeezy made me look at life differently for myself,” Mai said in 2021.
But our love is honest, pure and safe… something I didn’t experience as a child.”
Jeezy released his self-help book last month, he raved about the book a week ago on September 6. “‘I’m so grateful for your own voice in this world,'” she shared and captioned an Instagram post of herself and her baby holding a book. “I’m honored to walk with you my love🖤.”
