News about Amber Heard Thanks Fans For Support

Amber Heard expressed gratitude to her fans for their support in her reprised role as Mera in “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.” She shared her appreciation on social media alongside set photos, acknowledging the overwhelming love for her character’s return.

The sequel, directed by James Wan and penned by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, follows Arthur Curry’s reign as king of Atlantis his marriage to Mera, and their son, Arthur Jr.

The film’s announcement coincided with Heard’s public allegations against Johnny Depp leading to his removal from “Fantastic Beasts 3” and a petition to remove Heard from the “Aquaman” sequel.

Director James Wan clarified the sequel’s focus on Arthur and Orm’s relationship, clarifying that it was always intended as a different dynamic from the first film’s focus on Arthur and Mera’s romance.

Heard mentioned changes in her character’s involvement in the sequel, expressing disappointment about scenes being removed from the script that showcased her character’s action sequences.
